Pelatihan Pemeliharaan Sistem Monitoring Suhu Air Tambak Udang Vaname Berbasis IoT
Abstract
Suhu air merupakan salah satu parameter kunci dalam budidaya udang vaname yang secara langsung memengaruhi tingkat metabolisme, pertumbuhan, serta daya tahan terhadap penyakit. Ketidakstabilan suhu air dapat menurunkan tingkat kelangsungan hidup (survival rate) udang dan menyebabkan kerugian ekonomi yang signifikan bagi pembudidaya. Kelompok petambak udang vaname “Jaring Emas” di Desa Grujugan, Kabupaten Sumenep, selama ini masih melakukan pencatatan suhu dan pemberian pakan secara manual. Metode tersebut tidak hanya memakan waktu dan rentan terhadap kesalahan, tetapi juga menyulitkan proses analisis untuk pengambilan keputusan yang tepat. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian ini menyelenggarakan pelatihan pemeliharaan sistem monitoring suhu air berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan aplikasi SiVaname. Pelatihan dirancang untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mitra dalam memahami, mengoperasikan, serta merawat perangkat monitoring suhu yang terintegrasi dengan sistem informasi berbasis web. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa mitra mampu melakukan pemantauan suhu secara real-time, serta melakukan perawatan dan troubleshooting perangkat secara mandiri. Implementasi sistem ini terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen tambak dan mempercepat pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam mendorong transformasi digital sektor budidaya udang skala rakyat.
